The presenters will describe the current state of life care planning practices, provide data on protocols / procedures and methodologies used by life care planners, and describe areas of life care planning practice where further definition, refinement and/or research may be necessary. 

• Gain understanding of how life care planning has changed and remained the same over the last 20 years
• Identify areas of the life care planning that are still controversial as to methodology 
•  Assist to determine areas of life care planning research that would help support foundation in the field
